8 CBM Jig Machine Separator Description

When the 8 CBM Jig Machine Separator, the vertebral body will regularly drive the eardrum up and down under the drive of the sawtooth wave generator, and then the water flow in the jig machine will fluctuate.

The pulsation curve generated is called the sawtooth pulsation curve. The sawtooth pulsation curve creates a vertical alternating flow force in the jig machine, which re-stratifies the minerals entering the jig machine sorting tank. Minerals with higher density settle faster in the water flow and are located in the lower part of the material, while minerals with lower density settle slower in the water flow and are located in the upper layer of the material.

As a result, the material entering the jig is roughly divided into two material layers, with heavy minerals passing through the screen into the concentrate tank and light minerals entering the tailings tank and being discharged. The material is continuously fed into the jig machine, sorted and then discharged separately, forming a continuous jig machine beneficiation process.

Jigging beneficiation is one of the main methods of gravity beneficiation. The working principle of the jigging machine is based on gravity beneficiation, using the difference between the specific gravity of ore and gangue for sorting, the mineral raw materials with different specific gravity have different sedimentation rates in the vertical alternating water flow, the mineral with larger specific gravity has a faster sedimentation rate, occupies the lower part of the jig machine sorting groove, and the mineral with a smaller specific gravity has a slower sedimentation rate, occupies the upper part of the sorting groove, and discharges different minerals separately through a special weir plate, and realizes the effect of sorting according to the specific gravity.

The sawtooth wave jig machine is a kind of high-efficiency and energy-saving gravity separation equipment successfully developed on the basis of the traditional sine wave jig machine, and the difference between the traditional sine wave jig machine is that the water flow pulsation curve of the sawtooth wave jig machine is a sawtooth wave, the rising water flow is fast, the descending water flow is slow, the bed rises and loosens under the action of the rising water flow, and then settles slowly, the effective action time is long, which can greatly save the water supply under the sieve, and greatly reduce the recovery limit of particle size.

Compared with the sine wave jig machine, the operation recovery rate is increased by Sn: 3.01% and W: 5.5%, and the water consumption is reduced by 30~40% compared with the sine wave jig concentrator.
